The cost of physiotherapy treatment is an important factor when selecting a rehabilitation provider. But physiotherapy fees aren’t the whole story. What are you getting for your health care dollar?
We offer a premium physiotherapy service where each session is exclusively 1-on-1 in a private room with an experienced Registered Physiotherapist who has post-graduate training.
Initial Assessment – $90
(60 min, and usually also includes treatment)
Subsequent Treatments - $70
(45 min sessions)
WHO PAYS FOR PHYSIOTHERAPY?
Some of our patients do not pay out-of-pocket for therapy. Vineland Physiotherapy is an approved provider for Extended Health Insurance, Minstry of Health - Bundled Care Program, WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) and Ontario Auto Insurers (Motor Vehicle Accidents). Not sure if you’re covered? Give us a call and we can assist you.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO PAY OUT-OF-POCKET FOR PHYSIOTHERAPY?
Many patients do pay out-of-pocket for therapy. Physiotherapy fees paid directly by a patient are tax free and qualify as a medical expense for income tax purposes.
But rest assured, we respect your health care dollar. At Vineland Physiotherapy we provide only the therapy you need, and we will empower you to supplement your in-clinic care with a self-managed home care program.
Our goal is to get you better as soon as possible – a satisfied patient will refer their friends and family!
ADDITIONAL TREATMENT COSTS
Your Physiotherapist may indicate that Stimulation Therapy is needed as part of your treatment plan. If this is the case, there is a one time charge of $15.00 (large) and $10 (small) for the IFC pads. These pads will remain at the clinic during your treatment, and will be given to you when you are discharged from the clinic. We are commited to your safety and for hygiene reasons, these pads will not be used for anyone else.
WILL OHIP COVER MY PHYSIOTHERAPY?
Vineland Physiotherapy is NOT an OHIP registered clinic.
OHIP coverage has been restricted to persons 65 and over, 19 and younger, those receiving benefits under the Ontario Disability Support Program or Family Works, residents of long-term care homes, or persons who require physiotherapy to treat a condition for which they have stayed in hospital overnight.
If you do qualify for OHIP physiotherapy services, you must seek out one of the few OHIP registered clinics in Ontario. Click here to see a list of OHIP Clinics, for the Hamilton, Niagara, Haldimand and Brant regions.
Since current OHIP reimbursement levels for physiotherapy service is very low, the type of rehabilitation services offered by these clinics is accordingly restricted. Vineland Physiotherapy is NOT an OHIP registered clinic.
